This is a video of the Johnny Mercer House. aka "The house from the book" , the book being
"Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" . This was the home of Jim Williams, the subject of the book and subsequent movie. Originally this was the house of Johnny Mercer, the famous musician who is also buried nearby in Bonaventure Cemetery, also a must see.

This statue used to be in Bonaventure Cemetery, but after the popularity of the book it was moved to a museum in Savannah Historic District, where you have to pay to see it and you can't take any pictures of it. This is a postcard that you can buy that is signed by the photographer.
